"How To Engage More Children In Your Center or Class and Have Fun While Doing It!"

Hi there,

If you're interested in engaging more children while having fun with very little extra effort, then you've come to the right place.

Children Learn In Different Ways

We know that children (and all of us) tend towards various different learning styles:

Unfortunately most of us are not taught how all these different learning styles come into play and most of our core subjects are taught in ways that disadvantage the various learning styles. Think about how we teach literacy and numeracy... are we completely engaging all the children?

Which brings us to the big question:

How do we know that children with "learning difficulties"
just aren't responsive to the way we're teaching them?

By broadening our teaching approaches we can raise our chances of resonating with all the children. And if we can do this in a fun and interesting way... doesn't everybody win?

How Do We Do This?

I have found music such an effective teaching tool that I've been creating children's educational music resources since 1990. It probably isn't the only way to solve the problem but I've always seen great results because of the way it bridges the gaps between the visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning styles.

That's why I believe if you're an early childhood or junior teacher who would like to 'up the learning' in Literacy, Numeracy, Health/PE, Social Studies, Te Reo, Science and the Arts... then you've found the right programme tailor made just for you!

Introducing the
Up the Tempo Music Education Programme

Up the Tempo has been specifically designed by experts in teaching music so you can now have all the resources you need to successfully teach music and other cross-curricular subjects in the classroom. With its detailed lesson plans, funky songs and videos they've done all the hard work so you don't have to.

The main benefits speak for themselves:

So What Does It Contain?

With Up the Tempo you get:

And more than just songs... you're given other opportunities to teach music along with other cross-curricular possibilities. Which is a fancy way of saying you can get a lot of use out of it!

Who Is This For?

The Up the Tempo programme has been specifically designed for early childhood and junior teachers. Every unit is directly aligned with learning objectives and you're given clear links to what the children are learning.

If you do not feel confident teaching music, or don't think you are a music expert then this resource will boost your confidence and spice up your teaching.

But this resource also allows experienced music teachers to get more inspiration and extension using the framework of the program. So everybody wins in the end.

Who Created The Program?

Up the Tempo was created by two very experienced teachers in the area of music for children.

Meet Robyn And Linda

Robyn Trinick is a senior lecturer in music education at the Faculty of Education, The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her main area of focus for teaching and research is in Primary Music with a particular interest in the junior school. Robyn is also involved in research relating to music in cross-curricular contexts which includes exploring possible connections between music and language, mathematics and dance.

Linda Adamson is the founder of Love to Sing Ltd and has created children's educational music resources since 1990. Linda has a teaching back ground in early childhood, has been a music lecturer and continues to facilitate music sessions with teachers, parents and children. Her music products are loved by parents, teachers and children and have sold millions of copies (yes she counts) in New Zealand, Australia, USA, UK and around the world.

How Does Up the Tempo Work?

Every 2 weeks you and your kids will work on a new module. Each module includes:

This may sound like a lot (we make sure you have all your bases covered) but don't worry it's very easy to implement. Once you see just how simple it is to get all this value from one module you'll be amazed. That's why we can have our incredible guarantee but we'll get to that in a second.

How Much Is All This Worth?

It's hard to put a value on how much all this is worth to you as a teacher. We know (because we created it) that to get a programme designed like this plus all the resources created it adds up rather quickly. But because we're able to deliver it over the internet we can keep your investment very reasonable.

So right now you can get your hands on everything for a very low price of just $197.

That's right you get all four terms including songs, lesson plans, lyrics, learning objectives and lots of music videos for just $49.25 a term. Plus you don't have to wait for delivery as it's all available instantly over the internet.

And if you're not the most tech savvy person (like us) we have easy to follow videos explaining exactly how to download and use all the music, video and lyric files. Need more help? We're just an email or phone call away!

But we also want you to know you're backed by our amazing guarantee...

"Happy Kids and Happy Teachers"
Guarantee

We know you're dealing with some of the most demanding consumers out there so we make our guarantee simple:

If you and your kids don't completely fall in love
with our music programme... we'll completely refund your money!

This is our no quibble, iron-clad you love it or you don't pay guarantee. I don't think we can make it any easier than that.

You even get to keep the entire programme (it's not like we can suck the computer files back off your computer anyway). Sure some people may take advantage of this but it's worth the risk to us to ensure you're completely amazed by what you receive.

Here's What Some of Our Clients Have to Say

"Children love the songs"

"One of the challenges for generalist teachers is knowing what to do with a song and how to move forward. In this programme, teachers can see a clear progression, with learning goals and outcomes, presented in a user-friendly format.

It offers teachers a range of choices - far more that just the song itself. There are the video songs, the unit plans, the extra learning opportunities and cross-curricular possibilities and opportunities for integration that could fit well with an inquiry approach.

Children love the songs, and this resource is very good value for money."

Judy Inkster - Music Specialist, Cornwall Park School

"Up the Tempo is a thorough,
easy to use music programme"

"Up the Tempo is a thorough, easy to use music programme. It contains simple-to-teach, whole-class activities as well as ways to extend children. There is support for teachers who are not themselves musical, yet contains ideas and terminology to really add to children's knowledge and understandings.

This will become a regular programme in many classrooms."

Karen Seth - Primary School Teacher and Preschool Dance Instructor

"For the busy teacher
this resource has it all"

This resource for early childhood and junior teachers is a comprehensive programme which includes links to the other curriculum areas and Achievement Objectives for the Arts in the New Zealand Curriculum document and the Te Whaariki Goals. Extension ideas, assessment activities and explanations of musical terms and instruments are also included in the resource.

Teachers should find this resource very user friendly in the way it is set out and based on a range of fun and easy to sing songs. The term overviews provide the framework for teacher planning. Everything required to implement the programme is included in the resource. For the busy teacher this resource has it all.

Well done Linda and Robyn, this is a great resource.

"They are loved by all children"

I was introduced to Love to Sing songs by some wonderful NZ teachers when I was working in London. Since then I have used them in my classrooms all over the world - they are loved by all children, but I find them particularly helpful for children learning English - they just can't resist joining in with the actions, delightful tunes and fun lyrics (TPR).

My (and my students) special favourite is "hello" it's a great settling-in song in those first few scary days when they start 'big' school. By the end of the week they are practically charging into the classroom in the morning to put the CD player on and start a fun-filled energetic day. Parents from all nationalites come up to me humming your songs - they are a fantastic springboard to instilling a love of music in all. I especially love to see children who are initially reticent about speaking aloud - singing at the top of their voices - magical!!!

Thank you, keep up the good work

Best wishes,

Sharon Heywood :)

"And they are fun, which I think
is very important"

Hi Linda,

My name is Tracie Jones and I am currently in my first year studying to become a teacher in Christchurch. At the moment I am doing music lessons with children and planning the lessons. I love the 'Love to sing' songs and think they are perfect for the age I am teaching. And they are fun, which I think is very important.

Thank-you very much,

Tracie Jones

"I highly recommend the series..."

Hi Linda,

I actually live in Sudan and am in my fourth year now and teach preschool in the Khartoum American School. I discovered your Love to Sing Series while I was teaching in Laos. Our New Zealand music teacher used the Jack in the Box and Hey Baby, Let's Rock and Roll with our group. I was hooked.

I Googled the songs and found your website. I use the videos as a very positive means of musical expression and a real life experience seeing other children involved in music. Children who might not be very expressive normally will begin to sing along and some will jump up in spontaneous dancing.

I highly recommend the series as a means to provide children with an opportunity to generate inner feelings for music and free expression. I play the CDs in the outside play area to let the children generate their own spontaneous actions to the songs.

"They are awesome"

Hi Linda

I am a New Zealand citizen and New Zealand Early childhood teacher. I used to listen to your CD's when I was in New Zealand. They are awesome.

Now I am working in the USA at a Montessori school and I have already introduced a few songs from Love to Sing CD's to our kids. They really enjoy them!

Thank you

Saradha
